One-Day Trip to the Mekong Delta (tnb/mk1)

6:40 – 6:45  AM: Guests arrive at the meeting point in District 1, beginning the one-day Mekong Delta tour from   Saigon to My Tho. At 10:00 AM ,  the bus arrives in  My Tho . Guests board a motorboat (approximately 20 minutes) to the first sightseeing point –  Lan Island . At Lan Island (Thoi Son) , guests visit a honey production facility and enjoy honey tea with fruit jam. Afterwards, the tour guide will take the group on a stroll around the village, exploring the life of the people  in the Mekong Delta . Continuing the journey, guests will take a small boat  ( approximately 20 minutes of rowing) along the lush green canal lined with coconut trees. The boat will then take guests back to the motorboat. Guests will then visit a coconut candy production facility. The boat will travel along the canal with fruit orchards on both sides. Guests will tour the facility and see the coconut candy production process firsthand. Guests can experience a horse-drawn carriage ride along the country roads of Southern Vietnam…

Guests will have lunch at the restaurant, featuring local specialties…

After resting and having lunch, you will continue your tour of the Mekong Delta. You will have the opportunity to enjoy fresh fruits and listen to traditional folk music , a characteristic cultural feature of the Mekong Delta. You will return to My Tho by speedboat, and a vehicle will pick you up to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda – one of the largest and oldest pagodas in the Mekong Delta. Upon returning to the city, the vehicle will drop you off at your original pick-up point. This concludes your one-day Mekong Delta tour .
