Chau Doc – Nui Cam – Tra Su (CD01)

DAY 1 SAIGON – THẤT SƠN – NÚI CẤM – CHÂU ĐỐC (Eat three meals a day)

6:30 AM – 7:00 AM: The vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at the meeting point and depart for Chau Doc . You will have breakfast at Mekong Reststop restaurant in Tien Giang, then continue your journey along National Highway 1A towards the Mekong Delta , passing the My Thuan suspension bridge and the Vam Cong bridge.  Along the way, you will listen to the tour guide's commentary on the sights you pass. You can gaze into the distance at the tranquil, silt-laden red rivers, the vast fields, and the fruit-laden orchards of Dong Thap province … A truly unforgettable experience.

Upon arriving in Long Xuyen/Chau Doc, you will stop for lunch.

The group continues its journey to the Thất Sơn mountain range , where they will hear about the scenic spots in An Giang such as Thủy Đài Sơn, Thiên Cấm Sơn, Anh Vũ Sơn… located within the majestic Thất Sơn range. The group then ascends Mount Cấm, a 716m high mountain known as the "roof of the Western region." On the mountain are Thủy Liêm Lake , Sơn Thần Temple , Phật Lớn Pagoda , Vạn Linh Pagoda, and a 32m tall statue of Maitreya Buddha always smiling at visitors (tourism company vehicles are provided to take guests up the mountain, or guests can take the 3.5km cable car (cable car fee not included) passing over the beautiful Thanh Long Lake and enjoying panoramic views of the majestic Thất Sơn range). Descending the mountain, the group returns to Châu Đốc town, where they visit Tây An Pagoda , Thoại Ngọc Hầu Mausoleum , and the famous Bà Chúa Xứ Temple , the largest pilgrimage center in the Western region.

The group returns for dinner, after which guests are free to relax or rent a rickshaw or taxi to go to the Mount Sam night market or stroll around the town at night… Overnight stay at the hotel

DAY 2 TRA SU MANGROVE FOREST – THOAI SON – SAIGON (Eat two meals)

After breakfast at the restaurant, the group will be taken by car to visit Tra Su Melaleuca Forest, the most beautiful flooded melaleuca forest ecosystem in Southeast Asia. The journey follows Tinh Bien, passing through the majestic Thất Sơn mountain range, admiring the scenery of Mount Cam, Mount Ket , and unique Khmer temples . Upon reaching Nha Bang district, the group will enter Tra Su Melaleuca Forest. The tour begins with a morning exploration of the stunning flooded melaleuca forest ecosystem. Upon arrival at the ferry terminal, a 10-minute motorboat ride along the canals through the cool, shady melaleuca forest leads to the first stop. From there, the group will transfer to a rowboat – the most enjoyable part of the journey. The rowboat gently glides through the water into the lush green melaleuca forest, offering breathtaking scenery. The water's surface is covered in a light blue hue from the water hyacinths, like giant carpets covering the entire forest. In the cool air, the boat glides gently, creating an indescribable feeling of exhilaration. Life seems to slow down, and happiness levels noticeably increase. Guests can cast aside the worries of life and enjoy the refreshing feeling of being surrounded by beautiful wild nature. Here, guests can witness tame birds foraging on the green water hyacinths. After exploring, the boat takes guests back to the dock and continues the journey. The small boat takes guests along a unique path through the melaleuca forest to the next stop. Here, guests can climb the observation tower to admire the panoramic view of Tra Su Melaleuca Forest , walk on the dirt path through the forest to take beautiful photos, and photograph the bridge crossing the canal. Afterwards, they arrive at a restaurant area nestled in the wild, with clusters of small stilt houses nestled in the forest, creating a very romantic atmosphere. Guests can rest for a while, then the small boat takes them back to the dock, ending the Tra Su Melaleuca Forest tour. Guests will board the vehicle and travel to Thoai Son, enjoying the scenic views of An Giang's vast rice fields along the way, passing famous mountains such as Anh Vu Son and Ngoa Long Son. Afterwards, they will visit the Thoai Son Nui Sap tourist area , a place of stunning natural beauty and steeped in the history of the pioneering general Thoai Ngoc Hau. On the mountainside stands the Thoai Son stele, erected by Thoai Ngoc Hau in 1822, marking the opening of the Thoai Ha canal from Nui Sap to Rach Gia (30km) . This is a significant historical milestone in the development of the western region, as well as the opening of a transportation route for goods and irrigation.

Guests will have lunch at the restaurant.

The vehicle will continue to take you back to Saigon, stopping along the way for you to buy Sa Dec specialties such as Lai Vung fermented pork sausage, Sa Giang shrimp crackers, pink tangerines, etc. The group will then cross the My Thuan suspension bridge in Vinh Long, follow National Highway 1A onto the Saigon-Trung Luong expressway, and return to Saigon. Upon arrival in Saigon, the 2-day, 1-night Chau Doc - Nui Cam tour of the Mekong Delta concludes . Goodbye and see you again! Sincerely!
